I was exploring how furntiture could be made from a single sheet or plywood or acryllic for example. How the sheet could be visible, the process could be seen and the final item shows how a flat sheet of material can morph into something else through bending, reformation. Its is a shaped, and therefore is know as 'a' table.  I had a gloss black prototype made, which looks beautiful, of high quality. It could be made in other colours such as I show here, and these could be vibrant, blue, orange red or a classic white. I also am considering having a plywood version, this could too be available in a variety of species of wood, if suitable to the bending process. I show an image of one possibility and in the context of a Master Bedroom. Although it could be an occasional table for a living room too.

'Rocket' eggcup

Rocket Geometry C.jpg
geometry of eggcup.JPG

This is a fun little eggcup, designed like a rocket, with red flames coming out of its bottom. There could be a USA transfer on the side, reminscent of the 'Apollo' series. Its is made of plastic and could perhaps be made through 3d printing.

Egg cup 3d C.jpg

Did you know eggs have a mathematical formula within their geometry. That is where I started in sizing the cup, see image 1. I used mathematical geometry to create the outer form of the eggcup, seen in image 2. Image 3 explores the addition of a USA transfer and the overall geometry and form. 4 a study of the form in 3d sketch.

Maybe it will take off...
